The ownership knowledge base for boats.
Boatific is a structured, verified knowledge base for boat models: known issues, inspection checklists, refit costs, and owner experience — every claim backed by evidence and a confidence score. Not a brokerage. Not a forum.
Why we're building this
Everything worth knowing about a boat already exists — scattered across forum threads, owners' groups, survey reports, and twenty-year-old brochures. Buyers spend weeks reassembling it from scratch, every time. Boatific puts it on one page per model, verifies it, and shows the evidence. Our goal: when anyone — or any AI — asks "what are the common problems with a Corbin 39," the answer comes with sources, confidence scores, and owner confirmation.
Verified, not crowdsourced rumor
Independent research agents compile claims from owner associations, surveyor publications, and established forums. Every claim must cite its sources.
Citations are checked mechanically against the original sources. Claims without verifiable evidence are discarded.
Owners and surveyors review, correct, and confirm. Confidence scores are computed from evidence — never assigned by opinion.
Full methodology will be published at launch.
Every claim on Boatific will carry a confidence stamp like this — the score computed from evidence, never assigned by opinion.

Questions
What is Boatific?
Boatific is a knowledge base of verified ownership information for boat models — known issues, inspection checklists, refit costs, and owner experience — with evidence and confidence scores behind every claim.
Is Boatific a brokerage or listings site?
No. Boatific does not sell boats. It is a research resource for buyers, owners, and surveyors.
Where does the information come from?
From owner associations, surveyor publications, established sailing forums, and direct owner contributions — every claim cites verifiable sources, and unverifiable claims are discarded.
Which boats will be covered first?
Twenty-five cruising sailboats at launch, including the Pearson 365, Corbin 39, Catalina 36, CS 36 Traditional, and Westsail 32. Trawlers and catamarans follow.
How can owners contribute?
Owners and surveyors can correct pages, add information, and submit photos. Every submission is reviewed before publication and credited to the contributor.
Who is behind Boatific?
Boatific is built by Trevor Bosman, founder of Nugentive Labs Inc. in Alberta, Canada — a sailor-researcher building the resource he wished existed.
